Before a career in distribution, I spent 10 years flying as an Air Force WSO in F-15E Strike Eagles. Then I spent 14 years on the floor and in the office — Floor Manager to Regional Director. Here’s why I built this place:
This site was created for you, and the many people like you, who work in warehouses, distribution centers, & fulfillment centers around the globe. The mission is to provide you insights, knowledge, and perspective for whatever level you may be at. (Oh, there’s a sprinkling of wit & humor too!)
Most importantly though, it serves as a “Community Town Square” to help create deeper connections with others out there who understand this very gritty and unique culture. Our hope is that it will help you to get the most out of your career in whatever way you seek.

Ben Hopkins, founder & creator. Before his career in distribution, Ben spent 10 years flying as a U.S. Air Force Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) in the F-15E Strike Eagle. He then spent 14 years in the industry, from Floor Manager to Regional Director, at publicly traded, family owned and private equity backed companies. More about Ben.
